Been doing that lately with Forza Horizon, so I could see getting into this down the road a bit.SAN FRANCISCO-( BUSINESS WIRE)-Today, Ubisoft announced that Riders Republic ™ is now available on PlayStation ®5, PlayStation ®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, Stadia as well as on Windows PC through the Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store. Still, can see it being a definite time waster/podcast type game. I can ride faster on flat ground on a bike than the snowmobile.). Also, the snow mobile feels not great as well (and it's so SLOOOW. People popping in, my character or equipment going invisible right before/after loading, some of the animations, especially when crashing into something (not necessarily bailing, but casing a jump, running into a wall, running into other people in a race, etc.). I know there are plenty of different tire manufacturers, but the ones on the bikes (so far? No idea if that's something you can change?) look like they don't want to waste the resources on the tread, which I get, but in the first person view, your tire constantly bobs into view and is distracting to me.Īlso definitely some jank. The cornering knobs look fine, but the center of the tread looks completely flat/bald. One thing that REALLY, REALLY annoys me (and is so totally a minor nitpick in the grand scheme) is that the tires on the mtb look TERRIBLE. Having what felt like a dozen races (I know it was probably only like 6 or so) before the game opens up is frustrating (and I'm still getting tutorial stuff hopefully I'm past the majority as it's finally forcing me to walk around the camp). Have me do like one race in each discipline, then just let me loose. Also, I know these games are trying to reach the widest audience, and they kinda need to hold peoples hand, but the onboarding experience is frustrating. The jet wingsuit didn't feel nearly as great in the opening thing though. The snow stuff seems similar to Steep, I think? I put a ton of time into that game, but honestly can't remember much, other than I thought it felt good once you got used to it. Doesn't seem very deep, but the bikes are fun enough so far. Been playing for a bit since the beta opened up, and enjoying it so far.
